MicroScanner PoE Wiremap Adapters
MicroScanner PoE ships with a different wiremap adapter than MicroScanner2. The main wiremap adapter MS-POE-WM is yellow and does not have a coax connection. Remote IDs are available in the kit REMOTEID-KIT, and the MS-POE-WM is identified as Cable ID #1.
If you also have MicroScanner2 with the blue MS2-WM main wiremap adapter and/or the MS2-IDK27, they will work with MicroScanner PoE tester, since both are in the same MicroScanner product family.
How are the Remote IDs used?
The Remote IDs are used to check wiremap and ID on the installed links between a patch panel and the wall jacks in offices or rooms in the building.
